Mary in Maryland

Hey everyone! This weekend was fun, just lots of driving. We were in Allentown on Friday night to cheer on the Abington Lady Ghosts at state. They lost, and it was kinda sad. I felt bad for Dan. Here's Sean supporting the team, and being a good brother.
Yesterday, I headed south on I-95 to Maryland to visit my good friends Aimee and Marco. It's so different here in the Northeast, the way you can be in 3 different states in under an hour. On my drive there, I was trying to think of interesting things to say about Maryland on my blog. I really haven't gotten a good sense of it's personality, and what it's known for. When I asked Aimee what Maryland was known for, she said "Crabs." They live in Odenton, which is near Annapolis. This is their apartment complex.

They have the best dog ever, a sweet Pug named Beau. He likes to sniff people's hair, and here he is, sniffing mine, but it looks like he's kissing me on the cheek!

Marco recently proposed to Aimee, and here is her ring. Beautiful!

We headed out for a yummy dinner of pizza and calzones (thanks again for dinner, guys!). There was a car in the parking lot with Maryland plates that said: SEAHAWKZ. Kinda neat to see evidence of a Seahawks fan so far away from home. Here's a shot of Aimee and Marco, as we were waiting for a table. Dinner was great, and then we spent the rest of the night talking and sipping on wine. Fun! It was such a nice visit.

And now, a picture of the blog's namesake, Swiffer. Here he is this afternoon, in his favorite spot on the coffee table.

Anyway, gotta go, I'm watching the Little People Big World marathon on TLC. Take care, loved ones!
